Augen people come from more than 17 countries, bringing a vast range of experience and diverse backgrounds enriching the work we undertake for our clients.
Each "Augeneer" is required to be well rounded with knowledge and expertise, in multiple areas of activities – all contributing to our range of software services. Of course, strong communication skills are a given.
At Augen our culture starts by employing the right people, ensuring they bring with them the right skills and work ethic, aptitude and attitude, before they can become Augeneers.
We understand our quality of work grows with employee satisfaction, so we invest heavily into Augen staff development. With so many ethnicities in our organisation, cultural and social integration is integral to the way we work.
While our activities are spread between New Zealand and Asia, our management team is directly involved in day to day interactions and is, of course, always accessible to our clients. Some of our managers are also directors and shareholders, all adding to the level of backing and commitment we provide.

- Albert Vanderplancke – Manager - AugenGENERAL & AugenSOFT
- Michael Mayer – Manager - Operations
- Winston Chow – Manager - Technology
- Hung Nguyen – Director of Augen Vietnam
The Augen board of directors includes two of its original co-founders, who continue to work within the business. Their role is to provide strong governance and structure as well as depth of industry knowledge and experience. The board is also responsible for future vision, business strategies and international networks, all adding to the growth and sustainability of the Augen Software Group as a whole.
